School Gardener

School Gardener – holiday support (school holidays / half terms)

Each year, we work with selected local schools to create a vegetable garden on school grounds and teach the children how to grow food organically, using ‘no dig’ techniques, in harmony with the seasons and the biodiversity around them.

The aim of our practical growing programme for schools is to connect children with their true source of food and for them to experience the joy of growing.

During the school holidays we need support in maintaining the schools growing spaces ready for the term ahead.
