Grow Together Bucks (GTB) is a not for profit, Community Interest Company based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Our community projects include:

400sqm Community Allotment in High Wycombe which enables community volunteers to experience the joy and importance of sharing, growing and consuming wholesome food. Any food surplus is donated to The One Can Trust and Hills Community Café

Working with schools, creating growing spaces for children and providing practical growing programmes to teach and inspire the next generation to nurture the soil, connect with nature and grow their own food.

Connecting local businesses with schools and community groups in need of help by facilitating, managing and hosting Corporate Volunteering Days.
We are seeking a Freelance Teaching Lead to join our team, leading the practical (outdoor) and classroom lessons in two local primary schools and/or leading teaching sessions at our community allotment in Wycombe Marsh. We are seeking someone with a background in Horticulture. Teaching experience is also desired.
You will be supported by a Horticultural Support Teacher, planned session workshops and the experienced Grow Together team. Together you will share the joy and magic of nature away from the constraints of formal learning.

Time

Up to 4 sessions/lessons per month from March - September 2026

Days and timings will be discussed with suitable candidates
Salary

£25 per hour

Mileage expenses will be reimbursed
