About the event
Join us in-person for a practical ‘hands-on’, free composting workshop and learn how to turn organic garden waste and vegetable scraps into ‘black gold’! You will learn both the science and the practical skills of composting. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to make compost to feed the soil for your vegetable or flower beds, or for potting seedlings. Composting also saves money and reduce waste.
This a sequel to the workshop in May; ‘Get Growing’. In the autumn there will be a follow-on workshop on ‘No-dig’, which is a technique we have been using at the allotment since we established it seven years ago. Details will be on our website nearer the time.

The event will take place in person at the Grow Together Bucks Community Allotment in Wycombe Marsh. We will meet outside Wrights Meadow Community Centre, HP11 1SQ at 5.55pm - the allotment is 2 minutes walk away.
